How can you tell she's sick

Danica starting pulling up January 19th.  Then on January 22nd she took steps holding on with 1 hand along the window edge.  Yesterday she just started wanting to stand on her own all day and took 1 step a couple of times and then did a controlled fall to the ground.  When I picked her up from daycare I was informed that they had to "Danica proof" the daycare.  She's getting into place's that no other babies ever have.  So she an over achiever.  We already knew this, based on her growth chart.  Keith are I are on a new diet called chasing Danica.  Now complete strangers are coming up to me and saying "she's a busy baby".  Last week she was 21# 12 oz and 29 inches long.  She's almost the same size as a 16 month old little boy at daycare, but she has a lot more hair.  As the doctor puts it she continues on "her normal growth chart".

Here's a list of some of her accomplishments for the last week:
1. Stood up under Grandma's baby grand piano
2. Bite Grandma - "why did she bite me" "because she can"
3. Ate dog food
4. Almost made it out the dog door
5. Got stuck between the folding chair at church trying to get the boys behind her, pulled up on the back of several peoples chairs during church and made it out the other end of the aisle - hopefully she was on her way to pray
6. Yelled for Daddy so loud in Kroger's that the woman at the other end of the meat aisle gave Mommy a dirty look
7. Tried to climb the fireplace wall
8. Untied every ones shoes
9. Bite the dogs tail, bite Mommy
10. Bite Daddy's toe
11. Tried to remove Mommy's mole and Daddy's nipple
12. Greets us everytime by standing in her crib - I'm sure she'll be trying to figure out how to climb out next
13. Tried to climb over the couch
14. Steals grandma's walker - it's the perfect height to pull up on then take off with - leaving grandma in the dust
15. Stood up the bath tub several times
16. Removed the screw covers from the toilet
17. Took all the toilet paper off the roll as a gift for Daddy
18.  Pooped in the bath tub
19. Ate peas and corn from the table for the first time and loved them
20. Ate a bite of a chocolate chip cookie and really like it - bad idea Daddy
21. Gives kisses with her tongue and open mouth - still really great
22. Started waving goodbye
23. Changed her bedtime to 8:10 from 6:45, we have no idea why but at least now she occasionally take a nap.  A real nap, not a 10 minute recharge, sometime up to 90 minutes.
24.  Found and played all the door stoppers in the house - yes they make the same noise
25.  Tried to remove Mommies glasses so many times I was getting ready to make an appointment with eye doctor because I was sure I was going blind and then I cleaned them and realized it was just Danica finger prints
26. Unplugged the couch

We took it to the doctor last week, as she was trying to climb off the exam table and laughing at the doctor he said, "Gwen how can you tell she's sick".  "Well if she wasn't sick, she'd already be off the table and down the hall and the whole office would be hearing her babbling, plus she's not eating great".  He didn't seem to convinced, until he looked in her ear and saw ear infection.  And then he said "she's a busy baby".

We rearranged the furniture to keep her from getting behind the furniture and playing with electrical cords - one of her favorite activities.  Borrowed the "gated community" from a friend.  It's a series of baby gates that make a large circle for containment.  It allows me to contain her while I unload groceries without having to check on her with each load or to take a shower.   I'm sure she's figuring out how to get out of it.  It's so worth all the chasing for one of those open mouth tongue kisses she gives.
