Danica is moving. This morning she was on our bed on her stomach and used her knee to move forward once. She hasn't figure out how to use the other knee yet to keep going. It's an army crawl, but it was forward movement. Danica got sick last week, she has a bad cold and a a mild ear infection. When Mom saw the antibiotic she said it was the same stuff she used to give me as a kid.
Keith surprised me Saturday evening, by completing a landscaping makeover on our front yard. I mentioned to him I had bought some mums Friday to plant in the front of the house. While I was in the shower, he snuck outside and got the mums from my van. While I was at work Keith and a friend of his, painted the foundation chocolate brown, dug up all the landscape bricks and plants/bushes. Then he layout the new beds to make the front yard look bigger, added the black plastic, new dirt, mulch and replanted some of the plants and added the mums. It looks great and added some curb appeal. Yesterday Keith and 3 guys painted the rest of the foundation, sided 3/4 of the one end of the house, removed the old siding off the back and add the railings to the side porch. Now the neighbors are coming over to tell Keith how different the house is looking. We hope future buyers think the same.
We are going to the bank today to find out about loans. We have looked at a lot of house and found one that we would like to buy. So next weekend Keith and his friends will continue to work on the siding, maybe building a deck, working on the backyard landscaping, maybe painting the fence. On Sunday I'll be working on packing stuff up so we can stage the house. We have lots of extra stuff in our basement and that we'll move to Mom's condo while we are showing the house.
