Yesterday was such a great and emotional day, I hope we can both hold it together tonight to make it through the home study interview. Say special prayers tonight around 6:30. Mom is very excited that it's a girl and she loves that she was named in part for uncle Claire.
Keith is going for the first time to my doctor, hope he likes him. We have lots of little tasks to complete for the home study:
copies of birth certificates, marriage license, divorce decrees, tax returns
Indiana state police checks
Local police checks
Fingerprints - including Mom
Child Protective services check
Physicals
Reference letters
Letter from Danica's guardians
Oh, plus we are going on our honeymoon at the end of February to Curacao. So, Keith has a passport appointment Thursday and I have to update my passport with my new last name. We also have to add each other to bank accounts, life insurance, bills, etc. And I have to continue changing my name everywhere.
Lots to do, but SO worth it. We can't wait till Danica arrives. We feel so honored that someone would chose us to raise this beautiful baby.
